Willie Goldwasser was named the 2006 Estate Planner of the Year by
the Boston Estate Planning Council.

As Managing Partner of Goldwasser-Appel, Willie Goldwasser sets the
standard for caring, concern and integrity that has been the tradition of the
firm he founded in 1972, a firm that has produced in excess of $4
billion of individual life insurance coverage.
In the ever-changing world of business succession and wealth transfer
planning, life, and disability insurance, Willie J. Goldwasser has
established an excellent record of service to his clients. “In every instance, I advise my clients, their
families and their businesses as I would advise myself, if I were in their

Willie’s commitment to his clientele is reflected in
the recognition he has received over the years from various professional
organizations. The Boston Estate Planning Council recognized him as "Estate
Planner of the Year" in 2006. The Boston insurance community
recognized him as “Person of the Year”
in 2003. He is a lifetime member of the internationally renowned Million
Dollar Round Table. For 34 consecutive years he has been a recipient of the
National Quality Award, given by the National Association of Insurance and
Financial Advisors in recognition of outstanding client service. He received
the Vincent C. Bowhers Quality Award for recognition of outstanding commitment
to the pursuit of professional excellence every year it has been in
existence. He is a member of the Boston Estate Planning Council. Willie has
spoken on life and disability insurance planning and the transfer of family
wealth before professional audiences in 8 countries. He has written articles
on the proper and improper use of business and estate life insurance. His
firm has provided well in excess of $3.8 Billion in individual life insurance
protection.

A graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Masters degree
from Northeastern
University, Willie also
received the Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial
Consultant (ChFC) designations. He has served as president of both the
Boston and Massachusetts
Life Insurance Producers Associations. He has served on the boards of
charitable organizations that have local, national and worldwide impact.
